1月6日 God loves you!!!Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical universe, so are there spiritual laws which govern your relationship with God. 1. God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life. (References contained on this page are from the Bible and should be read in context wherever possible.) Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? 2. Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life. Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way, and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin. God is holy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two. The arrows illustrate that a man is continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through his own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion - but he inevitably fails. The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf... 3. Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life. He Is the Only Way to God God has bridged the gulf which separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins. It is not enough just to know these three laws... 4. We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives. You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer: (Prayer is talking to God)
3月3日 Romans 7:7-25Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. 25 Gode zij dank door Jezus Christus, onze Here!
26 Derhalve ben ik zelf met mijn verstand dienstbaar aan de wet Gods, maar met mijn vlees aan de wet der zonde. 12月24日 BirthdayDear loved ones, I want to share something with you. As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party. FamilyF A M I L Y
I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
"Oh excuse me please" was my reply.
He said, "Please excuse me too;
I wasn't watching for you."
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
"Move out of the way," I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,
God's still small voice came to me and said,
"While dealing with a stranger,
common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You'll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."
By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said.
"Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree.
I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."
I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay.
I love you anyway."
I said, "Son, I love you too,
and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."
FAMILY
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in
a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more
into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,
don't you think?
So what is behind the story?
Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU 9月17日 Happy Sabbath to youToday is such a happy day, for today's the Lord's day:
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Genesis 2:3 9月5日 The will of GodThe will of God will never take you, Where the grace of God cannot keep you, Where the arms of God cannot support you, Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs, Where the power of God cannot endow you.
The will of God will never take you, Where the Spirit of God cannot work through you, Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you, Where the army of God cannot protect you, Where the hands of God cannot mold you.
The will of God will never take you, Where the love of God cannot enfold you, Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you, Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears, Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.
The will of God will never take you, Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears, Where the Word of God cannot feed you, Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you, Where the omnipresence of God cannot find you.
Everything happens for a purpose. We may not see the wisdom of it all now, but trust and believe in the Lord that everything is for the best. 8月12日 Live unselfishly and teach people to love JesusYou shall walk in all tkhe ways which the Lord your God has commanded you,
that you may live and that it may be well with you,
and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
~ Deuternomony 5:33
Christ is the way, the truth and the life. I ask you to study His life... He came to bring to lost souls the gift of eternal life. In the sacrifice of His Son, the Father revealed how much He desires that sinners shall be saved. "Therefore doth my Father love me," Christ declared, "because I lay down my life." The Father loves us with a love that is but feebly comprehended.
It is because men and women lack the spirit of self-denial and self-sacrifice that hey cannot comprehend the sacrifice made by Heaven in giving Christ to the world. Their religious experience is mingled with selfishness and self-exaltation. How can such professors have anything but a meager hope of sharing the inheritance of Christ? "Verily I say unto you," He said to His disciples, "Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
There are many who, while professing godliness, measure themselves among themselves, and in consequence grow weak in spiritual life. Pride is not overcome. Not until these souls fall on the Rock and are broken will they understand their need. Oh, that they might confess their wrongs before God, and plead for the presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives! Truth and righteousness will flow into the hearts that are cleansed from selfishness and sin, and through the lives of those in whose souls truth occupies the first place...
The wickedness of the world is not abating. Every year evil becomes more prevalent, and is more lightly regarded. Let our gatherings together be made seasons of heart searching and confession. It is the privilege of this people who have had such great blessings to be trees of righteousness, shedding forth comfort and blessing. They are to be living stones, emitting light. Those who have received pardon for their sins should with earnest purpose lead those who are in the ways of sin into paths of righteousness. Partaking of Christ's self-denial and self- sacrifice, they will teach men and women to give up selfishness and sin, and accept in their place the lovely attributes of the divine nature.
~ E.G. White, Review and Herald, July 22, 1909. 8月1日 Today's lifelessonIn John 14:12-14 Jesus tells us that we should ask for things in His name. That is, what we request from the Father, we should request in the name of Jesus. What does this mean? So often, when we pray, we pray to the Father, and then we often, in our prayer, end with something to the effect, 'and we ask these things in Jesus' name.' What is implied with these words?
By praying in Jesus' name, we are declaring before ourseles, before other humans, and even before the universe (see 1 Cor. 4:9) that we, personally, acknowledge the authority and power of Jesus Christ in our lives. By praying in His name we verbalize our personal acceptance of Him as our Savior, our Redeemer, as the One through whom we have complete access to the Father (see Heb. 8:1). By praying in the name of Jesus, we can claim the promises of God that we have in and through Him. 7月27日 Everything designed has a DesignerThe design of the human body demands the existence of a designer. Have you ever pondered all that’s involved in the simple act of seeing? Scientists tell us that the delicate engineering of the eye's cornea and lens make the most advanced camera seem like a child’s toy by comparison. The tiny rods and cones in the eye change light into electro-chemical impulses through processes the most sophisticated laboratory can’t reproduce. And brain cells transform these electrical impulses into the miracle of perception – something no high-tech computer can come close to doing. Engineering, chemistry, information processing – all are involved every time we open our eyes. Charles Darwin once stated that the thought of the eye, and how it could possibly be produced by natural selection, made him ill. Here’s why: The human eye could not have evolved over long periods of time, because it is absolutely useless unless complete. The lens, which focuses light, would be useless without the retina, which senses light. And all the light received would serve no purpose without the nerve fibers which carry signals to the brain. Vision involves a complete system of organs – all interrelated, all thoroughly designed. That’s the way it is with the whole human body. Lungs and heart, nerves and muscles, all perform incredibly complicated tasks that depend on other incredibly complicated tasks.
No wonder the Psalmist concluded that the human body speaks loud and clear of a wonderful Creator: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” We don’t have to go far to find the “works” of God. The evidence right in our own bodies points to an infinitely skillful designer. 7月26日 Thoughtquestion of the dayRead Ephesians 4:15. How do you undertand what it means to speak the 'truth' in love? Is 'truth' still 'truth' if spoken in any other way but love? 7月23日 Memory text of this week: Colossians 4:6Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt,
that you may know how you ought to answer each one. 7月22日 Today's lifelessonConsider the stories of various Bible characters who failed to yield their desires to the will of God. Note the consequences of their actions:
- Cain (Gen. 4:3-15)
- Moses (Exod. 2:11-15)
- David (2 Samuel 11-18)
- Peter (Matt. 26:69-75)
- Judas (Matt. 27:3-5)
Some of these individuals repented of their sin and trusted in God's grace for forgiveness and salvation. Others continued in their sin and will be eternally lost.
7月21日 Love for God is essential for perfect health"For you were bought at a price; t
herefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit,
which are God's."
~ 1 Corinthians 6:20
Our bodies belong to God. He paid the price of redemption for the body as well as for the soul. (...) The Creator watches over the human machinery, keeping it in motion. Were it not for His constant care, the pulse would not beat, the action of the heart would cease, the brain would no longer act its part.
The brain is the organ and instument of the mind, and controls the whole body. In order for the other parts of the system to be healthy, the brain must be healthy. And in order for the brain to be healthy, the blood must be pure. If by correct habits of eating and drinking the blood is kept pure, the brain will be properly nourished.
It is the lack of harmonious action in the human organism that brings disease. The imagination may control the other parts of the body to their injury. All parts of the system must work harmoniously. The different parts of the body, especially those remote from the heart, should receive a free circulation of blood. The limbs act an important part, and should receive proper attention.
God is the great caretaker of the human machinery. In the care of our bodies we must cooperate with Him. Love for God is essential for life and health (...). In order to have perfect health our hearts must be filled with love and and hope and joy (...).
~ E.G. White, Medical Ministry pp. 291-293 Today's lifelessonThose who have totally surrendered their lives to Christ will, through the Spirit of God, die to their old selves and be 'born from above' (John 3:3). They have surrendered to God their whole existence, including the desires of the heart and flesh (see Rom. 6:13). Now, they live under the power and influence of the Holy Spirit, which gives them a new life in Christ (see Gal. 5:25). Unlike before they knew the Lor, those who hae died to self and live again in Christ can, through this power, live with their desires under control.
This new existence, however, is a day-by-day existence. Though we sometimes hear stories of those who, having surrendered to Christ, suddenly have their lifelong habit of smoking, drinking, or whatever just imply vanish, for most Christians that's not the case. Plus, too, character doesn't change in an instant. There's a day-by-day battle with sin, with self, with the carnal nature, which, though subdued through the power of God, is always there trying to break through. In and of ourselves, we can't win against our fallen flesh; all we can do is, moment by moment, surrender our wills to Christ and claim His power over our sinful desires. This takes self-denial, vigilance, a struggle, and lots of prayer, but victory is promised. Otherwise, defeat is certain. 7月20日 God's plan for your healthG odly Trust

Godly Trust ~ Prov. 17:22
The ultimate lifestyle includes not just health and fitness, but spiritual growth. Trust in God supplies a missing piece in our lives. It brings quality, fulfillment, and hope for the future.
Open Air ~Dan. 10:17
The human body operates on oxygen. Make sure yours gets enough by exercising, keeping your house well ventilated, and pausing frequently to take slow, deep breaths.
Daily Exercise ~ Isa. 40:31
Exercise slows down the aging process. It strengthens the heart, lowers blood pressure, relieves stress, and helps you maintain a desirable weight. You don’t need expensive equipment or a health club membership to start. Walking can provide all these benefits and more.
Sunshine ~ Psa. 27:1
Sunshine can be good for you. It kills germs, helps improve your mood, and allows the body to produce vitamin D. Yet, while some exposure is good, too much can destroy the skin’s elasticity and increase the risk of skin cancer. Enjoy sunlight and outside activities, but protect yourself from overexposure. Proper Rest ~ Isa. 30:15
Rest is an important part of life’s rhythm. Most adults do best with seven to eight hours of sleep each night.
Lots of water ~ Nahum 3:14
Drinking 6 to 8 glasses of pure water between the meal, as well as bathing frequently, assists nature in her efforts to rid the body of daily impurities.
Always temperate ~ Mark 3:27
Temperance is involved in every aspect of life. Genuine temperance is refraining from using anything harmful and using in moderation those things that are good.
Nutricion ~ 1 Sam. 28:22
The food that we eat can either assist the immune system in its fight or destroy it. It lies up to us as to what we choose to put into this delicate creative masterpiece. Eat and fill yourself; but don’t eat and kill yourself. Today's lifelessonHow fascinating that through Satan caused our first parents to sin on the issue of appetite, Jesus - in His first major conflict after His baptism - would go over the same ground and succeed where Adam and Eve failed. What a message His self-denial should have for us, we who are often enslaved to our appetites and passions. 7月19日 Today's lifelessonAll around us we can see the results of humans who have allowed these wonderful God-given gifts to control them and their lives. God gave us sex, and we became pornographers. God gave us material possessions, and we became greedy and selfish. God gave us music, and we became punk rockers. He gave us fire, and we became arsonists. He gave us food, and we became gluttons. He gave us words, and we lie and we curse. He gave us grapes, and we became drunks. It's hard, really, to think of any God-given gift that we, as humans, haven't, one way or another, perverted or abused because of sin. The effects are seen everywhere. 7月17日 Today's lifelessonSin influences the human body with disease, old age, and so forth. But the body cannot be evil, because Jesus put on a human body when He came to this earth. Greek culture also taught that the spirit is something within us that is always fighting the body. But in Romans 8:4, 5; Galatians 5:24, 25; and Galatians 6:8, the spirit is our attitude of surrender and obedience to Jesus. People who live 'in the spirit' are people who have surrendered their sinful natures to the Holy Spirit. 7月16日 The world's only hopeNever has the world faced so many perplexing problems that seem to have no solution. Many are asking, 'Where can a permanent solution to these problems be found?" Our Bible has the answer. Christ foretold the event that will resolve all of these problems of mankind. There is no other solution!
In the closing days of His ministry on this earth, nearly 2,000 years ago, Jesus talked about the day when He would be taken and crucified. The disciples of Christ would not allow themselves to believe that such a fate could ever overtake their beloved Leader. Christ knew that they would need an abiding hope in the days to come. He gave them the wonderful promise we find recorded in John 14:1-3: ' Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, belive also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself: that where I am, there ye may be also.' The fulfillment of this promise in the coming of our lord the second time to this eath is the world's only hope!
For further study:

(Luke 21:11) 5 What terms are used to describe the anxiety and trouble that will exist among the nations just before the end? (Luke 21:25,26) 6 What are the signs that will be seen in the financial or economic world? (James 5:1-8) 7 What message will the nations be proclaiming, and what will actually happen? (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17) 18 What effect will this event have on the wicked? (Revelation 6:14-17) 19 To whom will Christ appear as Deliverer and Savior when He comes the second time? (Hebrews 9:28) 20 How can we prepare for that day? (Luke 21:36)Today's lifelessonThe apostle Paul warned that in the last days people would be 'lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God' (2 Tim. 3:4). Talk about a perfect description of this generation! The guiding principle for many today is: Satisfy your own desires. Christian values are discarded as old-fashioned, unreasonable, and hopelessly out-of-date. The basic sentiment is: As long as you desire to do something that doesn't hurt anyone else, then there's no reason why you shouldn't do it.
In contrast, those who live under the lordship of Christ are called to submit all their desires to the will of God. Our Lord Himself declared, 'For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me' (John 6:38). Jesus set the perfect example of submission to the will of God when He prayed, 'Not what I will, but what You will' (Mark 14:36). This is our mandate, as well. Our will, our desires, must be surrendered to the Lord. Memory text of the week: Romans 8:3
